Hi, bye

Your videos.
Any screen.

Hi, bye points to folders on your Mac. Watch on any device, any browser, whatever, even your Tesla. Nothing to install.

How it works: run the Hi, bye server app on your Mac (macOS), then watch in the Hi, bye web app in your browser.

Hi, bye on desktop, iPad and iPhone, showing a Classics folder.
Your folders, as is
Hi, bye playing Nosferatu (1922) full screen in the browser on the center touchscreen of a Tesla Model Y, seen from beside the steering wheel in a dark cabin.

In your Tesla

Works in the Tesla browser while parked, over home Wi-Fi or an HTTPS address. Tailscale isn't supported in Teslas. Remote access for the car is on our list.

Watch from anywhere

  • Home Wi-Fi: open your Mac's address. No setup.
  • Tailscale: free app on your Mac and devices. Works behind CGNAT.
  • Advanced: your own HTTPS address with a PIN. Needs port forwarding.
The Hi, bye player full screen on an iPhone in landscape, paused on Charade (1963) at 26:14: a man in a tweed jacket and a woman in a red coat stand by a park hedge while a man in a black coat and hat watches from the path.
